Five eras, one controller
How the gaming journey is organised: from retro days and the golden console years to roleplay and the Crus Esports community.
The gaming journey on this site is split into five eras, each one a stop on a line.
The eras
- Retro Days (to 2004). Road Rash, the first Grand Theft Autos and the early Need for Speed games.
- The Golden Console Years (2005 to 2011). Resident Evil 4, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Underground, and the PS2 classics.
- Mobile & Esports Boom (2012 to 2018). GTA V arrives, phones get serious and competitive play goes mainstream.
- Roleplay & Right Now (2019 to today). GTA V roleplay on Nova Unite and Karunadu RP, with Valorant and Minecraft on stream.
- Crus Esports. The community chapter, played and streamed under the Flip Studio banner.
